Straight Bible is the home of a new Bible seminar entitled, "Biblical Interpretation For All Of Us." This Bible seminar will work with the principles of How all the Scripture agrees with itself when read in context. That is you can get your Bible reading straight by applying simple principles based on scripture, having a single author will have no internal contradictions if the biblical context is carefully followed. It may be understood and anyone by applying simple principles of reading literature. For example, if a statement is made early in the work, it remains true unless the author himself changes the truth of the statement. Scripture is consistent within itself, there are no contradictions but only mis-understanding of the readers.
This Bible seminar breaks new ground in Christian Faith simplicity. This seminar will unravel the mix of biblical Faith from Greek philosophy, arguments of apologists, opinions of ancient writers and other influences that have confused Christians for centuries. This seminar will show that much of what is supposed to be orthodox Christianity is nothing less than Greek philosophy and ancient opinions with theological terminology.
There will be no "dogma" lectures, no "doctrine" sessions, no "traditions" taught, no propounding of favorite theologies, just 'Straight Bible' from the scriptures themselves. In addition to the seminar, there will be a companion electronic booklet which is a free download for seminar participants. The booklet can also be purchased separately for those who do not wish to take the seminar at this time. There will also be an outline (seminar notes) available for a free download.

This seminar will show how anyone can read Scripture with clarity and discover the real Faith of the apostles of old. When the principles in this seminar are properly applied, a new (old) Christian Faith will be revealed, a Faith of power and deliverance just like you read in the book of Acts of the Apostles. The apostles of old exhibited great power in their "primitive beliefs." Such power of God by holy spirit can be exhibited by Christians today by adopting those same primitive beliefs.
This new seminar is still in its infancy but those of us working on it are very excited to see this work come together. This new seminar represents best practices of reading Scripture and living as a Christian in these modern times. The seminar is backed by expertise in Biblical New Testament Greek and reflects modern sciences of linguistic anthropology and manuscript textual criticism, yet will remain very understandable by any Christian regardless of background. You will discover that true Christianity is not one of forms, rituals, ceremony, and liturgies but it is the way of a Father with His children.
This seminar fulfills the great desire of God to have all men both to be made whole and come to a knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:4) That truth is contained in the Scriptures, the Bible. God desires Christians to be the receivers and keepers of all the truths HE has provided through his prophets and apostles. The Christian gains these truths by searching the Word of God. These truths are not hidden, mysterious or secret. They are plainly seen and understood by reading in context. The Scriptures will interpret thenselves, revealing truth if read in correct contexts. All you need to do is apply the principles of reading in context to get God's straight and simple truths.
Straight Bible Interpretation Principles
The principles listed below are also the outline of the biblical interpretation seminar. These principles are not exclusive or stand alone, often you must apply several at once to get straight your Bible reading. The seminar is not presented in a specific order. The student may view or listen to the explanations and teachings of these priciples in any order desired but doing the lessons in order is recommended.
- Principle 1: Get Straight the IMMEDIATE context
- All Scripture agrees in the verse or sentence.
- All Scripture agrees in the paragraph or section
- Principle 2: Get Straight the LOCAL context
- All Scripture agrees with what is written before and after.
- All Scripture agrees with the purpose and context of the book.
- Principle 3: Get Straight the the REMOTE context
- All Scripture agrees with the first or early occurrences of words.
- All scripture agrees with the whole topic.
- All Scripture agrees with its own divisions.
- Principle 4: Get Straight the the AUDIENCE context
- There are only three scriptural audiences
- Each book is directed a specific audience.
- A section within a book can be directed to a different audience.
- Principle 5: Get Straight the the TEMPORAL context
- Do not read the past into the present or future.
- Do not read the present into the past or future.
- Do not read the future into the present or past
- Canonical order versus historical order of biblical books.
- Principle 6: Get Straight the the ENVIRONMENT context
- Cultural environment of the times.
- Language environment of the times.
- Political environment of the times.
